Lavender Smokey Eye - Get The Look

Lisa Eldridge is a makeup artist that has always inspired me. She works on many A-list celebrities, and has the most soothing voice imaginable.

The other day I was looking for inspiration because I wanted to create a lavender smokey eye. Luckily for me, Lisa had a tutorial on YouTube using eyeshadows I happened to have in my stash.

Here is her video that inspired my look:

For this look she used three Urban Decay eyeshadows; ACDC, Uncut, and SWF

ACDC is the shimmery lavender color in the top row center, with Uncut next to it. SWF (pictured below) is a shimmery ice pink that I have in a single.

To create my version of the look, I buffed ACDC all over the lid and up into the crease. I applied Uncut to the outer corner of the eye and along the lower lash line.

To brighten up the inner corner I used SWF. I did use quite a bit more than she did because I wanted a super sparkly look that was a bit more dramatic.

For my eyeliner, on the waterline and upper lash line, I used Urban Decay's 24/7 glide-on eye pencil in Desperation (matte gray).

To finish off my look I opted for Lime Crime's Airborne Unicorn, a lavender lipstick.

Here is the completed look:

While I am not even close to Lisa's talent level, I am still very inspired by her look.

I hope you enjoyed this post. What is your favorite way to wear lavender?
